HMS RENOWN AT SPEED

Although dated by the artist 1919 this painting appears to show RENOWN as she was in 1917 when under the command of Captain H F P Sinclair CB RN.  Completed in September 1916 with very distinctive searchlight platforms on both funnels, by early 1917 the after platfom had been significantly altered, a larger structure, on one level only, being the new shape as shown here by Wood.
